The best Mac recipe manager

I have been using this app since version 1. Over time, the app has only become better, particularly the recipe import from web.

Every few years I download the free trials of all the other popular Mac recipe manager apps. Sous Chef, Yum!, Yummy Soup, Cookware, Cook’n, and more. Every time nothing compares to the utility of MacGourmet Deluxe. I like being able to manage my recipes on my computer, but use my iPad in my kitchen when cooking a recipe. I like that it does not come pre-loaded with hundreds of recipes that I will never ever cook. I like that I can create new recipe categories and tags. I like the newer syncing, no longer the hassle it used to be when it was a new feature.

On the negative side, the Mastercook format recipe export is not compatible with current versions of Mastercook.
